I’m a-itchin’
Yeah, I’ve got that itch again and no amount of cream is going to make it go away
.
I really would like to “take it up a notch” with my picture taking and get back into taking action shots of the kids playing sports (soccer, lacrosse, baseball, basketball, etc.).
Way over thinking it
In today’s installment of “picture taking 101″, I will discuss WAY OVER THINKING whether or not a shot looks good SOOC (Straight Out Of the Camera).
I went for a little ride today with my trusty Nikon D70 to take a few pictures of this week’s theme “close ups”. I wasn’t as diligent as I probably could have been, but I found a pond on my travels and took the following picture:
Color correction, actually incorrection?
This is going to make me crazy…
Not only am I having issues printing stuff I have “color correction” issues as well. This is something I’ve known about for a while. I use a MacBook Pro for my main computer, with a second display. Forget about getting both displays to look the same… I’ve tried, and I cannot manually get the job done.
Printing drives me nuts!
My interest in photography has recently been re-sparked and I’m really enjoying it. As seen on my website Dig Our Pics!, you can see that we have a nice little “club” where we take pictures based on a weekly theme.
I need your vote
We went to the Big-E this year, and Careerbuilder.com had a booth set up with a contest to win a getaway. From their website:
Just a heads up…the contest has been extended until October 15th!
Force unmount a Drobo volume (or any other) in Mac OS X
When using Mac OS X you might encounter this message:
The disk "Drobo" is in use and could not be ejected. Try quitting applications and try again.
This message may occur even if you have closed every open program. To force unmount a volume, open Terminal and use the umount command.
